THE METHVEN MAGPIE was spot on telling Punters Corner followers that they had to be patient to get on his best bet for last week when he tipped Goorambat Art in the very last race at yesterday’s Rangiora meeting.

The wait was very worth while as the Art Major (USA) gelding ran out a very easy winner at even money.

Goorambat Art was certainly not only The Magpie's top tip, as the four-year-old was sensationally backed all day and punters got plenty.

As reported earlier, Chris' best bet of Catch A Wave was a brave third in the NZ Pacing Free For All last Friday at Addington and Mark's tip for last week, of Cheddar Valley at Newcastle on Monday, ran a very good third at very nice each way odds of 16/1.

As we head into week forty-six (46) of our 2024 Punters Corner Charity Tipping Competition Mark heads the way with $724.00 banked, followed then by Chris with $635.50 and The Magpie now has $252.00 banked.
