THE HIGHLIGHT from last weeks racing of winners that were originally purchased out of New Zealand through our books were the wins of both Huxton NZ and Nymbal NZ.

Huxton NZ was making it win seven in Australia and his second in a row for the Jason Grimson stable since leaving the Robbie Holmes stable in September last year.

The KerryAnn Morris trained Nymbal NZ took his earnings to over  A$100,000 when winning race five on Saturday, which was his fourth Australian win after being purchased out of the stable of Brian and Gareth Hughes in May.

OTHERS TO BE successful included Rio De Janeiro Blue NZ, In The Summertime NZ, Arden Seascape NZ and Home And Dry NZ.

WITH NOMINATIONS now made for both NZB National Standardbred Yearling Sales to be held at Karaka and Christchurch, vendors should be giving serious consideration to placing insurance cover on their sales yearlings from now through until sale day.
